Who Am I?
Who am I
if not the stardust
in the sky
writing figures of your name?
Who am I?
Am I the breeze whipping through the linens on the clothesline...?
Dandelion seeds twinkling in the sun...
The eternal birdsong cutting through with bliss.
Who am I if not the dirt that forms the lives we live...
And to what we will return.
I am the universe in all its emptiness,
Full of everything and nothing all at once.
The eternal gratitude of dreams past and lives yet to bloom...
Who am I if not a part of you like the trees are part of the fungi
Speaking quietly beneath our toes
The secrets of a thousand lifetimes.
I am this and that and all that forms the world...
The whisper of love in the moonlit sky
The cry of sorrow as the rain pats the leaves
Eternal voices in one magnificent dream.
